Car was booked in for a day but due to engineer absence was required for two days which ended costing me a train/taxi fare to pick the car up the following day.Swindon team friendly and helpful however.

My car had a serious rear suspension failure and Dick Lovett Swindon were willing to take the car for inspection and repair at 1 week's notice while I was away on business. BMW Oxford were unable to do that.

I think the courtesy cars should be fairly similar to the cars being serviced. I dropped off a 330d Touring in dark grey and got a 218 convertible in bright blue. As I spend time visiting clients this wasn't ideal.

I waited 3 weeks for a phone call to arrange work on something that went wrong after having my car for only 1week, even though I hadnt spent 40-£50000 pounds on a brand new bmw I thought the service would have been better.
They forgot to reset the onboard computer after the service
Everything was completed as requested staff including receptionists all friendly and helpful.
The staff confirmed with me what my vehicle was booked in for and the approximate time the vehicle will take to be serviced, cleaned and washed and ready for collection. Very Happy.

History of the car and reasons for being unable to test drive with a technician were discussed in depth at booking. This was not available on arrival with the car and there was no flexibility without getting the manager involved.
After calling to schedule an appointment to resolve the issues I had with my car, I needed to wait 5-6 weeks before an appointment was available.

I have had good service recently.
Had to wait a few weeks to get booked in, and would have had to wait even longer if I wanted a curtesy car. However, once I arrived at the Service Dept on the day the service received could not be faulted.
Quick efficient and on time. Gave a rapid turn around, I like the video pre service and the safety checks.

I work in the British Army and time during the week for me to get faults fixed on a newly purchased car is at an absolute premium. I had to take a days leave to get a fault on a new car fixed, I wasnt afforded a courtesy car due to product recalls.
Overall very good as usual, but was kept waiting for quite a while before a service adviser became available, though recognise it was first thing in the morning so a busy time of day for them.
BMW have not followed up on resulting questions

Dick Lovett should have taken more control of the situation and been the customers champion when dealing with BMW centre for this issue. Problem management needs improving.
The friend and helpful staff
The score would have been higher had I been told what oil I should keep in my boot. Also the car wash wasnt as good as expected.
Again, car had to go in three times. Frustrated that Service Dept was not open Saturday afternoon which could have resolved issue faster.
The lady I spoke to was nice but I was not impressed by the manager Gary Cumming who showed no concern or empathy whatsoever and brushed me off completely.

None of the issues requiring attention were their fault, but they have dealt with them efficiently to the best of their ability and within the resources they have - no false promises or unrealistic time lines.

Very courteous people as always. The car went in for an end of warrenty check and an MOT. This car has a service plan but apparently the car needed new disc pads which of course were not covered on the service plan so that cost me £240, unexpected.

Not great this time around. Lyndsey who usually looks after all of our BMWs was covering MINI, and therefore I had to deal with a random person instead. Even after discussing the return of my vehicle, I never had any calls to keep me updated.
The engine swap took place but the end result if that I have a car with a rough idle.I wanted to book it back in but I was told it was not an emergency and the next apppintment was two weeks later.This despite my car being off the road for two weeks.
They are an excellent dealership. James Burns did a great job finding my approved used BMW. All of the staff are extremely helpful and nothing is ever a problem

The service team is always lovely, however, it takes way too long to get a service booked, and when you don't complete all the work and the car breaks down 3 times because you didn't fix it the first time, that is a problem.
Although this was just an oil change, it was done on time and I was informed as soon as it was finished.
Work completed as promised though timing over ran and so no time for the promised car wash

There was a bit of a delay and no one seemed to know where the car was which was frustrating. However great effort was made when I finally went to collect it.
Very pleased with everything and we were even given a complimentary tank of fuel when my Wife asked how to fuel the car up. Luke made my Wife feel like Royalty when picking the car up and hiding it under wraps was a nice touch.
I was kept up to date the whole way through the process, and was able to collect the car a week after it was ready, once I had sorted out the return of my previous one to the respected dealer.
