What I expect from the brand.

This visit wa about the N47 chain quality issue. After the inspection i was told chain was going to be replaces. Only tensioned replaced finally. engine bay dirty

My wife brought the car in last Friday and although I knew the chap from service was on holiday, the contact he gave was also not on Friday. When my wife took the car in so nobody seemed to know what was happening - she eventually phoned me at work!

What a difference from 1996/7! A truly positive corporate approach to the individual customer and with Tom Reynolds a salesman who actually listened, noted and responded with excellent advice. He made the whole event completely stress free.

This visit was great as they remedied a noise which had been present for several visits, ever since my headlight was replaced nearly a year ago. The headlight and front panel were initially replaced crookedly, which seemed sloppy. Still not pefect

initially it was for a service which they did very well so i also booked it in for a wheel repair and new windscreen, in my opinion the wheel repair is sub standard the paint has inclusions and the filling poor.

The car was delivered damaged to the dealership, that said Luke was excellent in his appraoch and service, I think Luke has gone aove and beyond and has made a difficlut situtaion much better.

Customer service was friendly but average. No one advised that I could be dropped up or picked up. Had to wait another hour, was only told be 10 more mins, once I got there. No one approached or apologised for wait!!

I have tyre protection insurance, I went in because the light had come on, when I reset it the light had come back on, I went in as the light had come on again, they couldn't replace the tyre I until the next day.

Delivery time from ordering to delivery was too long. Originally quoted 4 months at time of ordering but actually waited 10 months for delivery!

Unfortunately we had to wait just over 10 months for our X3. We were kept informed but it was somewhat frustrating. We did not make a fuss but felt that BMW could have been more sympathetic and apologetic. Otherwise we were completely satisfied.

As ever we were well looked after, the car was well presented and made available to us to view in a 'hand over area' to one side of the the Main Showroom. This enabled us to have a good look, in comfort, with a degree of privacy.
