Ian (sorry could not remember surname) went to great lengths to ensure I was fully satisfied with the outcome following I a recent X1 purchase and unwanted tyre noise. Ian exemplifies the BMW Customer Service experience and personal commitment.
More than happy with Service department but not so with Sales
Fault rectified. All is now good. Longer than expected wait for curtesy car. Opertunity for BMW to promote their products with curtesy car but was given 1 series 116d.
Service desk staff Russell always helpful and friendly
From the start, all personnel were friendly and welcoming. The technical staff were professional and responded positively to the issues that I raised. However, the issues still remain, and whilst they don't pose any safety problems they are annoying.
Good reception arriving & service staff were polite. Reason for being there was as a final vehicle health check at end 3 years.At my request, an MOT. The vehicle was FAILED by the technician, 2 rear tyres being unacceptable. It had done 800 miles!!

I picked up the car and it still had a warning likght on it. I was told this would go off within 5mins. It didn't. Left me with quite some sorting out to do.
Boot mat disappeared. Service (Ross?) has checked valet dept but has had no joy.I have left it with him to investigate and he appears to have taken this minor issue on board.
Good customer service. Didn't get completely satisfied as the cleaning of the inside of car could have been better.
Courteous staff. Work done on time. Car cleaned internal/external without request.
Job was done to a high standard
The handover of the vehicle post service was very brief, minimal explanation as to what had been done to the car. I discovered the next day that the service repair reminder on the dashboard had not been reset, so it still tells me a service is due :(

In January I tried to connect to the service hotline and was put on hold with no answer for 5 minutes both times, it was a Saturday
On leaving the fault was still evident, much to the embarrassment of Scott on service reception. The fault was later resolved. A few days later I found some of the interior trim in the boot with its fixings.

Problem diagnosed swiftly although the solution was to prove to be costly. As I adore the car I went ahead with the repair.

My car developed a fault and was able to get an appointment quickly and the Service department made a special effort to find me a courtesy car even though none were available.
Sorted out incorrect previous servicing undertaken by Rybrook BMW, which caused a lot of extra work
i was told that the MOT would take no more than 90 mins but it took longer which was an inconvenience - even though i agreed to the fitting of two new tyres which extended it further.
The usual high standards were maintained apart from the final handover. This was due to change of personnel who was not au fait with work done and if I had not asked questions I would not have been aware there was nail in another tyre on MOT report.
Good notification of requirement to complete end of warranty check and MOT. Fuss free drop off and collection. Staff very polite and helpful.
I was able to book in on the day and was also offered a lift to and from my place of work while all repairs were completed. My service advisor was excellent (Matthew Easey) giving me peace of mind

My car was placed into Dick Lovetts to ascertain and rectify the failure of the PIC on my car.It lasted 3 days before not functioning and now has to be returned for further examination.I am reluctant to pay another £235 !

I collected the car and a few days later the same fault appeared, the car is now booked back in on 9th March. This was the earliest date a courtesy vehicle was available from the centre.
Everything was completed on time and within cost quoted. Replacement car was fine anf my car was cleaned perfectly.
I have been a loyal customer to Dick Lovett Swindon for c.10yrs. The main reason I return is the excellent service I have always received from Scott Barratt within the Service Dept. Scott is a credit to Dick Lovett Group and to BMW.
We were dealt with promptly as we had called in without an appointment.
On the positive side, staff were friendly and helpful and very attentive. On the negative side, our sale person could only tell us what the brochures said and had limited detailed knowledge of "extras". Also unrequested items were added to the quote.
The problem was diagnosed and sorted out very quickly. It was also explained but I didn't understand any of it.
Very quick turn around of service - usually taking your car to the garage is an inconvenience as you are without a car for a long period, however the work was completed a lot quicker than expected from experience with other garages.
Upon delivering the car to your service center we were met with a polite welcome, and courtesy. Our requirements from the service were explained, the expected service time, and that we would be contacted upon completion. Completely satisfied.

I arranged - in good time - to have a courtesy car provided as the service included a quality check. I was asked to provide my drivers license and NI number for the hire. On arrival there was no courtesy car. What can I say!

I turned up at the wrong service centre!. I was booked in for an MOT at BMW Newbury and went to Swindon.Your service centre person changed the booking and I had my car MOT'd the same morning.
I had no problems whatsoever.
The car stunk of smoke when it was returned. They had cleaned the car without asking and it was done so poorly. I am hoping this was a one off .
It was recommended that I in the near future should look at replacing my rear tyres, there was no pressure to do them there and then and a quote was provided with the invoice. As a result I am much more likely to return to have them replaced at BMW.
Everything was organised quickly and with minimal disruption to my day, and the car wash was much appreciated.

The only prevention of completely is the delay in greeting us when we first entered the used car showroom. We had to make contact. After that all staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
