Repair was booked, repair was completed and car returned all without any problem, a courtesy car was also provided, an automatic which is what I required
Fast service and car returned lovely and clean inside and out .
The problem with my vehicle hasn't been resolved, though they thought it had. It's intermittent, so difficult to rectify.
Very good service overall, shame resetting the computer was forgotten so I need to come back to Swindon for that to happen.
The team (as always) at Dick Lovett's were superb.
The staff are always welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. Despite undergoing refurbishment during my visit the showroom waiting area was comfortable and had all the usual facilities I was expecting
Pros Polite and helpful staff / Car collected and returned on time (even parked n the garage for me)/Car cleanedCons Service book wasn't stamped and no engineers report provided. A dealership visit was required to rectify
The service team are always friendly and helpful. I find their smile biggest as I'm paying the bill. It eases the pain.
Staff were friendly and helpful and work was carried out in the time estimated.
Always such a smooth experience. From booking, through bringing the car in, being kept up to date during the service and the after the event chat.
COULD IMPROVE ADVANCE NOTICE WITH REGARD TO COSTS INCURING
Great service - best dealership in the West
as always a very helpful team and a thorough job
I visited BMW due to some cosmetic damage to my car that I wanted sorting, due to the damage they recommended going to their approved bodyshop. This was a waste of time as the quote received was over 3x what it should be. BMW then took on the work.
The car came, primarily for a fix to the near side front passenger door, it will not shut properly and is scraping the trim of the rear door. It is under an approved used car BMW warranty. RegYG12 XVD.This was at end of November 2015. Still not fixed
Car picked up on time and delivered back as expected. Called by service advisor and kept up to date.
Drop in session, work completed very quickly and very reasonable charges
The service "experience" is way short of Audi Swindon, where you are greeted at the door, taken to the service dept, offered refreshments etc. Maybe this will improve when the proper show room opens up - I hope so.
Very good on time and car delivered back all clean :)
Work carried out as promised
The staff are great in particular Mr Tom Maskell
car requires coolant 3 weeks after full service and service Interval reset to 2500 miles (when garage feel I may need new tyres/brakes) feels like I am being forced back to BMW for tyres and brakes as interval will flag and need resetting.
I was told the service would take 1hr 30 mins not the 3 hrs which I had to wait,an explanation would have helped but nothing at all was said during my long wait,
Experience slightly marred due to the extensive refurbishment works going on. But they have done their best.
After a health check, advised that all brake pads needed replacing. Had this done. Everything else ok. On this second visit I was advised that the front tyres needed replacing. I was surprised at his news as when I had the health check you informed m
The dealership is undergoing substantial building work, but other than that was fine.
Only feedback point is that I couldn't find my car after the service - it wasn't where I was told. However, another member of staff helped me find it.
It was good, it was thorough, there seemed to be added services, I find the printout more useful. It did take a long time.
The courtesy car had been used by a smoker. courtesy cars should be non smoking. I was contacted by Bmw to say the car needed to be in all day because there was a recall for a software update. Wasn't the case so disrupted my whole day for nothing
the video explaining where the service centre reception had moved to during the refurbishment of the sales office was excellent.
The service was very good.
Staff friendly and nothing too much trouble. Estimated serve time given was precise.
Showroom being rebuilt. Temporary showroom not as nice
Factory fitted electric towbar had no plug adaptor for UK use. The Sales Executive ordered a new one which arrived at my home this morning. It should have been with the car when I collected it 5 days ago.Otherwise, I would have awarded 5 stars!
I have purchased/leased six 5 series cars from Dick Lovett, and have always had a very positive experience. The welcome from reception sets the tone for the following discussions about which car and what finance deal makes most sense for me.
Staff friendly and Derek and Tom went out of their way to make purchase as easy as possible. Tom came and picked me up from the station on the day I picked up my car
Clear, open sales negotiation with Steven Vellender who took a professional approach to the whole process
Great service from Tom. Very friendly and personable making the buying experience a pleasure.
Couldn't fault them.
Very happy with the whole service. I dealt with Richard Macklin who kept me informed at regular intervals and went above and beyond what was expected by offering to collect me to pick up the new car.
There was no hard sell at all which made the experience enjoyable.
My sales rep Nick Cook was totally excellent. He anticipated all my questions and had accurate effective answers. His salesmanship basically sold me on carrying on with BMW when I was minded to go elsewhere. Outstanding salesmanship.
